Midland Hotel, Manchester
We worked on the iconic, Listed hotel in the centre of Manchester for Q Hotels for a number of years to upgrade all departments of the hotel.
Mr Coopers House & Garden
This started with “Mr Coopers House & Garden” which became the hub of the hotel for breakfasts, through lunches, dinners, and an exciting cocktail bar with a new entrance created off the street which won the “Conde Nast” award for best cocktail bar in the UK.
The Midland Tea Room
A former function room was renovated and converted to a dedicated tea room to meet the continued demand for afternoon teas.
The Octagon Lounge
The main lobby/lounge area features an Art Deco inspired bar, designed to evoke a sense of glamour and sophistication with a contemporary edge. The colour palette is rich and atmospheric, dominated by deep, midnight blues, and charcoal blacks,.
The French
The restaurant refurbishment scheme draws inspiration from the dynamic Manchester landscape, blending industrial heritage with contemporary elegance. The interior features striking metal artwork installations crafted from copper, their warm, reflective surfaces evoking the city’s history of innovation and industry.
Walls are adorned with dark grey wallpaper, that echoes Manchester’s iconic urban skyline and frequent moody skies, creating an experience that celebrates the spirit of Manchester.
