GWRYCH CASTLE, CONWY

I’m a Celebrity, Gwrych Castle & Oulsnam Projects Group.

The famous TV show “I’m a celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” was based at the historic Gwrych Castle nestled in the Welsh countryside, after bosses at ITV secured its use, when production was forced to be relocated from Australia due to the pandemic.

It was amazing to see how the producers of the TV programme have adapted the castle to give it a really unique atmosphere.

Gwrych Castle was built on the grounds of a former medieval fortress, between 1812 and 1822 by Lloyd Hesketh Bamford-Hesketh as a memorial to his ancestors, the Lords of Gwrych.

Oulsnam Projects Group, had this beautiful property up for sale for the previous owners.

As part of the sales procedure, we prepared schemes to convert the castle into a luxury hotel and spa, and also an alternative for a residential retirement development.
